AND THEN IT IS WINTER You know time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems like yesterday that I was young, just married, and embarking on my new life with my mate. Yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all those years went.
I know that I lived them all. I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams. But, here it is... the winter of my life, and it catches me by surprise... How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my youth go? I remember well seeing older people through the years and thinking that those "older people" were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like.
But, here it is...my friends are retired and getting grey... they move slower and I see an older person in myself now. Some are in better and some worse shape than me... but, I see the great change... Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant...but, like me, their age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we'd be.
Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore... it's mandatory! Cause if I don't on my own free will... I just fall asleep where I sit!
And so... now I enter this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did!! But, at least I know, that though the winter has come, and I'm not sure how long it will last... this I know, that when it's over on this earth... it's over. A new adventure will begin!
Yes, I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn't done... things I should have done, but indeed, there are also many things I'm happy to have done. It's all in a lifetime.
So, if you're not in your winter yet... let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life, please do it quickly! Don't put things off too long!! Life goes by quickly. So, do what you can TODAY, as you can never be sure whether this is your winter or not!
You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life... so, LIVE FOR TODAY and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember.. and hope that they appreciate and love you for all the things that you have done for them in all the years past!!
"Life" is a GIFT to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who come after. Make it a fantastic one.

~You sleep better on a lounge chair with the TV blaring than in bed. It's called "pre-sleep."
~You miss the days when everything worked with just an "ON" and "OFF" switch..
~You tend to use more 4 letter words ... "what?"..."when?"...???
~Now that you can afford expensive jewelry, it's not safe to wear it anywhere.
~You notice everything they sell in stores is "sleeveless?!"
~What used to be freckles are now liver spots.
~You have 3 sizes of clothes in your closet.... 2 of which you will never wear.
~But "Old" is good in some things: Old Songs, Old movies ... and best of all, our dear ...OLD FRIENDS!!

What is the difference? Ego Says Listen and the Spiritual Heart Says Talk. They are both our thoughts and LisaOnTheGo calls this Talk Thoughts.
Ego says listen to your thoughts. The ego loves talking to us, they are our thoughts and always right, it never has a true answer and talks us into and out of everything. It is that perpetual thought circle with no beginning or end. The ego has us believing we can’t live without it and in fact, complicates our lives. When LisaOnTheGo listens to her ego talk thought the stories and dramas go on and on with negative thoughts and a no-win situation. The egotistical thoughts could be so mean and cruel that we wouldn’t ever talk to someone else that way and yet we find it acceptable to talk to ourselves this way. This gives the Ego power over us when we are listening to it.
The Spiritual heart says talk to you.
Talk to you, really, why?
LisaOnTheGo could have the negative thoughts, stories, drama when talking to herself and she could now stop her talking thoughts to being positive. LisaOnTheGo is learning to talk to her with understanding, loving and compassion. She gets to stop that talk thought in the middle of the talk thought to be positive. It is what she wants in her own world. LisaOnTheGo talk thoughts are being more positive, loving, kind and compassionate etc. and these thoughts whether positive or negative makes her world.
Talk thoughts have energy that manifests to what LisaOnTheGo wants in her life and it shows up in her world. Maybe not exactly how she envisioned or thinks about it but it does influence her path.
We get to choose our talk thoughts LisaOnTheGo is in control and has the power. This is empowering her to be who she wants to be and is the be the best she could be. She could change the negative talk thoughts to positive talk thoughts; reinforces the positives with affirmations and this is a win-win outcome.
Stop the ego mind-chattering talk thought in the middle of your talk and change those thoughts to positive. This is easier to say, hard to do and lots of practice. No one is perfect, we are human, be patient and kind to yourself.

LISAonthego has an intention, thought or a dream and has learned this is not enough. This is where the law of action is requested. An action needs to be taken on her thought or dream for it to become fruition. Once the action is taken then the manifestation is in motion. What you think you wanted or perceived to obtain; you don’t always get as you expected. LISAonthego’s world could humorous because it’s not the way she visualized it. It usually shows differently not good or bad just different.
By taking the action though it gives momentum and helps to move life forwards. Her thoughts are now more specific and detailed versus her mind. Just because she takes an action there is no time defined to have things moving,
LISAonthegorefers to this as cultivating, planting the seed because once she takes an action things could happen in that second or in years.
The Law of Action is on its own time. Once an action has been taken LISAonthego starts seeing the evidence. For example wanting a new car, she decides its time for a new car. Lets say a new Highlander 2016 Shoreline Blue and now when she is on the road she is seeing this car more often in her view. However after taking some actions, going to dealerships etc in her mind she begins to define it more and maybe she would want the Jade color.
It’s taking the action of what we want and sometimes we follow through and sometimes the universe has its own plans.
The universe could be humorous, you happen to be at an event and there’s a raffle for a great cause. The raffle winner will win their very own Range Rover Eovque 2017 in Baltoro Ice color and guess what you win! (this is an example)
What started this momentum was your actions and the rest unfolded. It would be nice if life were this easy and simple. Sometimes it is and sometimes as we know it’s more challenging. The quiet mind is needed to visualize our wants and needs to direct us which we way to want to go.
LISAonthegorefers to this as a tree. The trunk is your mind; the branch is the action and the twigs are the results. At anytime we get to go back to the branch and do it again, more defined, more directed until our desire is reached. An event, comment or situation arises that gives us a negative feeling. How we handle the occurrence is reacting or responding.
What is Reacting?
Reacting is a negative action and could be: External: Yelling, screaming, hitting, throwing things, losing our tempers or Internal: Smoking, drinking alcohol, drugs, missing work, go shopping. It is blaming everyone else, you being so right that you know everything it’s an attitude and taking an action outside of us. It is an internal feeling and reacting an external way to handle the occurrence.
Typically with a negative reaction, we are in the ego mind. The ego mind is our thoughts, the chatterbox that talks to us daily. The chatterbox that tells us stories have us believe untruths and never gets to an answer. We think we know and see the truth without having the facts and in fact, we are judgmental with the attitude that I am so right. We take our emotions and go to the ego mind the chatterbox and externally react.
Reacting is typically a negative occurrence and causes more trouble, usually very little is resolved when we are reacting.
What is Responding?
Responding is a positive action and could be: External: Taking a few deep breaths before speaking, talking slowly and calmly, going for a walk, take a time out before addressing the occurrence, Internally: Go within, meditating, EFT tapping etc. We take our time to listen within and choose how to respond.
Typically with a response, we are calm and in our power. We listen to the occurrence and respond from our hearts. We make choices calmly and speak from our hearts. It's being in your peace.
An awesome example is Standing Rock, the police reacted to the supposed protestors and the Native Americans were responding in their peace.
Regardless whether reacting or responding what is your story? How is the story affecting you? You keep telling the story over and over with no resolution. This has the power over you.

People Lying Acceptable? LISAonthego, Googled, How Many Times do People Lie a Day? All she had to do was glance at the results and it went from a few lies a day to several hundred. No way and LISAonthego agrees. Google top posts show how much we lie. What is the purpose? Is there a difference between a white lie and big lie? How do you feel when you are lied too? Do you know you are being lied to?
What is the point in lying?
As youngsters, many of us have lied in school or if we have siblings. We lie for the fear of being in trouble and the unknown. Results could be punishment? Rejection? Exclusion? Teased? First you observe others lying and getting away with it. You then try it out and it worked, you were able to get away with lying. The mind says, this isn’t so bad and you continue to lie. The ego becomes inflated and loves the feeling “I am so right”; “I have power”. It is a false sense of confidence and self-esteem.
Is their difference between a white lie and a big lie?
A white lie is I will be there in 5 minutes when you know it will take 20 minutes. Big lie could be when you know it will cause hurt or pain to another. Example: sibling calls and says they they went to the hospital for chest pain, it was stress, no big deal and are now home. You discover they had a massive heart attack. They're many reasons why people lie with an illness . Some reasons; others will call often and tell you what to do, tell the horror and nightmare stories, you just don’t want everyone knowing your business, etc. In theory a lie is lie that it is a lie, big or small. They are no differences. Lies and secrets could cause harm. Ultimately this divides and conquers. Who knows? Who doesn’t know? What do they know now?
When do we acknowledge to ourselves we are lying?
Lies typically continue until: 1. Get caught 2. Are called on the lies 3. Watch others getting in trouble for what you did or said 4. Accept you don’t like who you are or how you feel about yourself.
Lies comes from fear:
It's more work to lie than to tell the truth. Are people lying acceptable? Afraid of being caught this is the fear mode. Fear as the motive to continue, lying? Now you have become controlling, bossy, nasty and manipulative. A talks to B and then to C, they collaborate the stories and see the untruths unravel. Then it backfires. People are truly upset, angry, feel unappreciated and being deceived. Most people will take an action: Discontinue the relationship, back off or avoid you. In truth no one likes being lied to.
On average we see only 50% of lies. LISAonthego odds of knowing the truths are 80%. She won’t know today and will know tomorrow. She is one of those people the truth comes to her.
What is the price of your words?
Words are priceless. Tell a lie and LISAonthego will question your intent and your integrity. Someone telling you words and then you observe the actions to their words. Do they match up or not? The words don’t match. LISAonthego says this says a lot about you as a person, she will then question, your words, integrity, trust etc. Actually for LISAonthego, your words mean nothing without the action behind your words. Regaining trust is difficult to do and sometimes can’t be regained. Was it worth it? How do you feel about you?
For LISAonthego words are priceless. It’s who you are? Do your words follow in your actions? Words are your integrity and your character.
Most times truths could be a judgment or perception and everyone deciphers things differently. Starting with the truth then you are starting with facts and now you could have viable discussions for best resolutions. Start with a lie and try having a discussion, lol the lies get bigger, more involved or the person refuses to discuss anymore. This is a waste of time for all.
On a side note with current technology people are being called on their lies and society does not like it. If it is not good for others then why is it good for you?
Stop the lies, you know right from wrong. It’s a projection in our Country today. Look around publicly at the lies with the politicians. Lets start making a difference today in our world, speak the truth and lets project honesty.
